Pastel French wedding inspiration coming at you!
I swear I was french in a past life. I lived in a chateau. I ate baguettes and nibbled on cheese. I drank wine and picked flowers in the garden. I took lazy afternoon naps by the river and was awoken by the french bells ringing in the village square. I wore my mother’s (the queen, duh) wedding gown on weekends and twirled in the empty ballroom, because I liked the way dress moved. I also sang in there because the acoustics were incredible.
When it was time to conceptualize a styled shoot this past spring I of course reverted to my deep gut feelings that it needed to transport you to a french pastel garden in the spring.

“La vie est une fleur dont l’amour est le miel.” -Victor Hugo
Translation: “Life is a flower of which love is the honey”
My hope for you is for you to find inspiration in these images for your own wedding. They are so ME, it hurts. I hope that you see something that connects you to your gut, your past, the thing that makes you buy bunches of Peonies at Trader Joe’s just because.
