Arte and Lindsay’s engagement session was an absolute dream. We met in beautiful Delray Beach at the Morikami Museum and gardens. We were aiming for a location with beautiful gardens and tons of greenery to match their NY wedding.
We actual met on a dating app that my roommate at the time signed me up for. Arte was the first date I accepted, and the rest is history! We first met up for drinks after work at a place called The Office, which must have went well because then Arte asked me on a formal date that weekend for dinner at Vic and Angelos, an Italian restaurant in downtown Delray Beach.
What first attracted me to Arte was how genuine he seemed on our fist date, and that he was not afraid to show me his goofy, sometimes nerdy side, from the very beginning. Our conversation was great and he was handsome, funny and had a great personality, so I was immediately attracted to him. When we decided to move in together after our first year of dating! This was a big step for me, and at this point I could see it lasting forever.
Lyndsay has a pretty smile, is very sweet, and a little shy. I realized she was the one about 8 months into our relationship, back in the Fall of 2014, when we started making plans for our lives and I trusted her to help me make some big decisions. Also, she is surprisingly competitive, falls for my jokes and can fall asleep anywhere at anytime. My favorite thing about Lyndsay is how sweet and compassionate she is!
He proposed while we were on a walk with our dog, Peanut, by the water near our house. It was a complete surprise, and not how he originally planned it, but he was too excited to wait once he got the ring! I set him up perfectly without even knowing it when I was attempting to get a picture of Peanut on the dock by the water. He ended up kneeling down next to her and had the ring in hand. I even took a picture of him holding the ring before I realized what was in his hand! It was really sweet and I was completely surprised!
